How to Create a Fantastic Winning Culture

Your greatest asset is not your equipment or products - it's your people. that is a service industry. Employees are the ones Espresso Machine make your products SAVE NOW on Quality Inkjet Cartridges. Up to 75% SAVINGS! services, find your customers, create sales and do Christmas pages to color else that makes your business a business.

however at about 5pm each night your assets get up and leave. They may not even return the next day. When you realize that, you realize our business all about people - nothing else. Look Fine Olive Oil your people and the business will look after itself. that is quite logical but not enough businesses know how to manage that asset well enough.

Actions You Can Take to Reward or Develop Your Staff without cash bonuses.

Do it immediately - don't wait till the next staff meeting to reward your staff. Some staff will respond to immediate praise. Remember "always reward and praise publicly, but chastise or critique in private".

Make the Reward specific - Don't generalise and something like "You are doing a great job". Instead say "I like the way you handled taking that appointment on the phone because ......". The more specific the more immediate you are to point it out the good stuff, the more likely you will see the behaviour repeated.

Be creative - The thing people value the most these days is time - Give your employee a "Free time card" as a reward

Keep praise & rewards, genuine & positive - Don't give out conditional praise or put things in a negative sense (eg. Jane made a good sale today, but she needs to do...." or "great job. That means you can Antidepressants your job for another week" or "Jane did such a good job, why can't the rest of you do the same?".

Make the reward personal - Staff are individuals and should be treated as such. It pays to understand your staff and reward them with something that is meaningful to them.

Be innovative or die - as that is exactly what will happen sooner of later. No matter how unique your services are in the beginning, as soon as the market realises the speed at which you are growing and profits you are making, competition will arrive and fast. They will begin to copy you and try and head hunt your staff (that has happened to me in the past). Luckily enough my staff have remained faithful and I haven't lost my valuable asset/s. I have found out that fact, weeks after they had been approached. They had the freedom to go but they stayed. that made me respect them even more and now I want to go that extra mile to keep them, and I reward them appropriately. It also confirms to me that my systems work!
